New National Event Competition ‘a Must’ for Aspiring Event Professionals
MyEvent.Vision is an exciting new nationwide competition aiming to find creative talent within Britain’s event industry and is open to anyone with a completely original and dynamic event concept.
The winner will receive £5,000 cash, a full-time job offer from leading events agency, Events International Group (EIG), who have 17 event brands in their portfolio, investment into the winning event concept and the winning candidate will be part of the experienced team that brings their event vision to life!
As well as attracting headline sponsorship from EIG, MyEvent.Vision has attracted the support of leading event industry and business organisations including EVCOM, BVEP, Britain for Events, ISES UK, EMA, M&IT, The FT, Walt Disney Media+ and Storm Model Management.
The Chairman of MyEvent.Vision’s judging panel, Chad Lion-Cachet, and MD of EIG explains, ‘Anyone thinking of entering the competition shouldn’t see this merely as the chance to win a great prize but as their opportunity to shine in front of key figures in their sector. The format of MyEvent.Vision can better be understood as ‘Dragons’ Den meets The Apprentice’ and the strongest submissions will be invited to pitch their concept to a panel of industry leading judges.
Entering is simple all you have to do is visit www.myevent.vision and upload your event idea in no more than a 1,000 words. Hurry! Entries close on 6th February with the shortlist announced on 11th February. The judges’ pitch takes place on 27th February and the winner will be revealed at the M&IT Industry Awards on 3rd March 2015.
